PUBLIC RETIREMENT LAW

Gerry McDonough is Of Counsel with the Law Offices of Thomas F Gibson, one of the premier public retirement law firms in the Commonwealth.

His experience with Massachusetts public retirement law is substantial and varied. Gerry is a past member of the Teachers’ Retirement Board, and the Vice Chair of the Public Employee Retirement Administration Commission.

A member of the Massachusetts Association of Public Pension Attorneys, Gerry has served as an attorney for several retirement boards, including without limitation the State Retirement Board, the Chicopee Retirement Board, the Hampshire County Retirement Board, the Falmouth Retirement Board, the Middlesex County Retirement Board, and the Teachers’ Retirement Board. Gerry has also acted as an advocate for individuals who have faced obstacles in obtaining public retirement benefits.
